the jobs i could have or would rather have

I am a Management graduate, however I am a Design Engineer for a Filipino-owned software company. Our job titles have recently been... uhm downgraded (?) to "Technical Specialist". Hence, regardless if you are a software developer or a UI designer, that applies.

BUT...
I like Desinger Engineer better. Especially the engineer part, so I'll stick with it. (HaÜ)
And besides, I have yet to fully comprehend the technicalities of db design, sychronisation, and what-have-you's.

Browsing over artciles, and browsing over life, I've thought, and for the other part, wonder and wish how it is to be in other profession besides what I currently do.

So, I had / have wanted to be a:

(a) Doctor.
Way way back when I was younger, I constantly replay scenes of emergencies and operations before I go to sleep (those few minutes of lying down and trying to catch sleep? what usually lulls me are those dream-starter stories. How's that for a story? Ü)
Getting to high school, however, slimmed my chances and options for Medicine. Greatest Dilemma? "Slightly" Poor Memory. I doubt if I could remember all the scientific names and all those things written in miles-thick books! So there. Sad?

(b) Cab Driver.
Second, I've always thought how it would be to be a cab driver. I mean, how many stories would have they eavesdropped (or forced-eavesdropped) to? If I'd be one, I'd be sure to write a book of every single story... that I can remember. HaÜ

And yeah, I have yet to get a license and get tired of driving! Car, where are you?
Ü

(c) Photographer.
"Just because you own a camera doesn't make you a photographer."
But someday, someday, I will be one Ü
Then I can post flickr-worthy pictures.

(d) Take-off Pilot.
Ghad, I love the taking off part during plane rides. Those huge huge houses turned matchbox-ish lined up like legos, those islands I wish I can get a parachute, jump and land on, and a ship sailing in the vast sea.
As I press my nose on plane's window, I thank coincidence for being seated by the window, and enjoy the ride. And yeah, when it's not my nose pressed on the window, it's my nose pressed on the camera that is pressed on the window.

(e) Rich.
Can that be a profession? Ü
